Alongside Flower Turbines’ tulip-shaped vertical model, Italy is stepping up to revolutionize micro wind power in cities, with low-speed wind capture, easy installation, and capacity for hybrid renewable setups
  • 7 Seas Med: Italy’s First Floating Horizontal-Axis Wind Farm Approved with 252 MW Capacity:The 7 Seas Med floating offshore wind farm—comprising 21 x 12 MW horizontal-axis turbines—received its environmental permit in March 2024 and is slated for construction in 2028. With annual production projected at 800 GWh, it will power approximately 300,000 homes, support around 1,000 jobs during construction, and help accelerate Italy’s and Europe’s clean-energy transition.
